Town Council Candidates Forum Wednesday

Verona Town Council Candidates 2017This Wednesday, April 26, MyVeronaNJ.com will give the voters of Verona an opportunity to hear all six of the candidates running for the three seats on the Verona Town Council. 

The six candidates–Donna Cannizzaro, Carrie Ford, Edward “Ted” Giblin, Jack McEvoyChristopher Piccuirro and Kevin Ryan–will be attending MyVeronaNJ.com’s Candidate Forum, which will be held at Congregation Beth Ahm. The synagogue is located at 56 Grove Avenue, at the corner of Personette Street. There is parking on several neighboring streets. The forum will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The event will be moderated by students from the Verona High School AP Government class, who are developing all the questions that will be asked. Candidates will also give opening and closing statements.

The election will be held on Tuesday, May 9. If you cannot get to the polling place that day, you can pick up and submit an absentee ballot at Town Hall until May 1.
