On Monday, May 1, Verona parents are invited to an important workshop specially created for parents of teens and tweens. Facilitated by Certified Life Coach Fern Weis, the program will enlighten parents as to the real reason why families of teens end up fighting instead of talking. Weis will guide participants on communication methods which will help parents build trust and conversation with their teens and tweens.

The workshop called “From Eye-Rolling to I Love You” will be held on Monday, May 1, at 7 p.m. in the Verona High School Learning Commons. The workshop will give parents the right tools to help put to use immediately. The end result for participants will be as the program description describes, “less attitude and eye rolling and an easier relationship with your teen.”

This event is free to all Verona Families and brought to you by the generous support of the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee and the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drugs. Download the event flyer here.
