Christopher Piccuirro: Verona is a growing community and as such, the greatest issue affecting our town is to ensure the services and amenities provided by the Township are proportionally balanced in relation to the likely population increase in the upcoming years. This foreseeable growth in residents is likely to occur due to the recently completed building projects along with other residential projects currently underway. It is imperative the community plan for this increase responsibly in order to avoid placing undue strain and hardship on our schools, public works, safety, traffic, parking, quality of life, and overall community values which in turn would negatively impact all current Verona residents, as well as our home values. If elected I would ensure all potential negative issues are realized and dealt with up front by the council, item by item, using a fair and commonsense approach. Verona is a wonderful town with a strong belief in community and my goal is to keep it that way as we continue to develop. There’s a sensible path we can take to achieve this. Walk with me.
