Mrs. Mary Mullarkey, 63, died on February 25, 2017 in Glen Ridge. A funeral mass will be offered in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Cedar Grove, on Thursday, March 2 at 10 a.m.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Mullarkey moved to Verona 16 years ago. She was a woman of sharp wit and Irish pride.
She is survived by her husband, Peter Newlander, her children, Jacqueline Trezza (Richard), Jenniffer Viggiano (John Paul), Charles Lees (Lyndsay), Anthony Ciccolini, Peter’s daughters, Katrina Munteanu and Kelsey Newlander, eight grandchildren and six siblings.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Claire (nee Frederick) Mullarkey.
