Mrs. Elena M. Kish, 54, died on February 6, 2017 in Livingston. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Saturday, February 11 at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday from 3 to 8 p.m.
Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Kish moved to Verona in 1999 and served on the board of the Verona Eagles and the Verona Lacrosse program.
She graduated from St. Dominic Academy and was the chief operating officer of Panico Salons & Spa of Ridgewood, Oradell, West Caldwell for over 20 years.
Active in Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Elena taught CCD and was involved with the Family Mass and Women’s Cornerstone.
She is the wife of Thomas E. Kish, the mother of Dane Kish, the daughter of John and Camille LoPresto, Sr., the sister of John Lopresto, Jr. and Maria Herrel (and her husband, Alan). She is also survived by her nephew, Dr. Justin Herrel and her niece, Mia Herrel.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
