The Friends of the Verona Public Library are seeking donations of gently used books for their upcoming book sale in December.
The Friends are in need of all types of books, audio books, CDs and DVDs for adults and children. Donations will be accepted now until November 15. No book donations can be accepted after November 15. Don’t miss a chance to de-clutter your personal libraries while also helping to raise money for the Verona Public Library!
Every year the Friends of the Verona Public Library sell thousands of books at their annual book sale. This year the book sale will be from Thursday, December 1 through Monday, December 5. This book sale raises money for special programs for the Verona Public Library and other library needs.
Donations can be dropped off at the Verona Public Library, located at 17 Gould Street, during normal business hours, which are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays, 2 to 5 p.m. Please let the front desk staff know that you have a donation, and they will direct you to the storage room on the lower level where they can be dropped off. Please do not leave books on the Library front steps when the library is not open.
If you have any questions, feel free to email [email protected], or call the Library at 973-857-4848. The Friends thank the community for your continued support.
