On Sunday, August 21, the First Presbyterian Church of Verona officially welcomed Pastor Lynn Rubier-Capron to its fold as the church’s new minister. She will be formally installed by the Presbytery of Newark on Sunday, October 9.
Summer church services continue at 9:30 a.m. through Labor Day Weekend. Services will return to their regular 10:15 a.m. time on September 11, which is also the date of the church’s annual picnic (to be held on the front lawn, weather permitting).
