The Verona Police Department sent out a Nixle alert this morning saying that there has been a water main break on Claremont Avenue between Floyd Road and Malvern Place. That section of Claremont is likely to be closed for several hours while the Verona Department of Public Works attends to the repairs.
The police note says that residents in the area should expect some water discoloration.
