The Verona High School Football Program received honors at the 32nd Annual New Jersey Football Coaches Association’s Super One Hundred New Jersey Football Banquet. The banquet honored the best players and coaches in the state. Verona players Mark Riggio (l.) and Sam Cummings (r.) were honored as part of the top 100 New Jersey High School Football Players for 2015 Season. Head Football Coach Lou Racioppe, was named the North Section One Coach of the Year.
On January 17, Verona football player and Captain Mark Riggio was honored at the Mini-Maxwell Football Dinner. He was among 51 players who were recognized as the top football players in New Jersey. Riggio is pictured along with Coach Racioppe.
