The volunteers of the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee (VMAC) would like to thank the Township of Verona, Board of Education and local restaurants for their continued support of Family Night.
The purpose of Family Night is to provide Verona families a cleared schedule to enjoy quality time with each other. Family mealtime is an effective tool in fostering family unity and helping children and adolescents remain substance free. Dinner Does Make a Difference!
Family Night will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 23. The calendar has been cleared of meetings, practices and homework.
Local restaurants will once again be offering discounts tor Verona families who don’t want to cook at home. Beginning on March 18, coupons will be available at VMAC’s web site and will be available to parents through Verona’s school district’s Friday Folder. Printed coupons will be available at the Verona Library, Community Center and Town Hall.
We want to thank this year’s H.B. Whitehorne Middle School 2016 Family Night poster contest winners: Emily Bosco and Ava Capriglione. Their posters will be displayed in Family Night restaurants, schools, and town buildings.
