The Woman’s Club of Verona and the Verona-Essex Juniorettes aren’t doing their luminary kit fundraiser as a town-wide initiative this year, but they want you to know that you can still get a kit and support their scholarship fundraiser whenever you like this winter. Last year, the luminaries helped to support $1,800 in scholarships to Verona High School seniors.
A luminary kit costs $10 and includes 10 candles and the bags to put them in. You only need to add a bit of sand, gravel or soil to each bag to make it ready for lighting.
