Verona Recreation will be hosting a tree lighting event on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at The Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Ave. with activities starting at 6 p.m. There will be a variety of arts and crafts available in the ballroom from 6-6:45 p.m. with the tree lighting to follow. Guests will be treated to holiday tunes from Santa and his elves during the arts and crafts portion of the night. There will be a contest which will grant one lucky child the special opportunity to light the tree with Santa. Please stop by for some holiday fun for the whole family.
