Usually the big tailgates are in the parking lot at MetLife stadium. But this Sunday, August 30 on Sunday, September 13, there will be a tailgate BBQ at Frank Anthony’s to benefit the Verona High School Sports Boosters. (The date was changed to September 13 from this weekend.)
The shindig will run from noon to 5 p.m., and the Boosters are promising live music and games in addition to the food.
Tickets are $20 per person or $50 per family in advance, but you’ve got to buy your tickets by Wednesday,August 26 September 9. If you pay at the door, it will cost you $25 per person and $60 per family.

The Verona Sports Boosters is a parent organization that financially supports all girls and boys athletic programs at VHS and provides senior scholarships.
