Three Homes In One

Usually when you buy a piece of property, you get one house with it. Maybe a house and a detached garage. But there’s a new listing in Verona real estate this week that comes with three residences on it. The main house at 170 Grove Avenue has five bedrooms and two bathroom; the second house has is only a tiny bit smaller. And if you absolutely, positively have to get away, there’s a cottage at the far back of the deep lot.

Elsewhere, there doesn’t seem as if there’s going to be much of a summer lull in Verona real estate. There are six new listings, five open houses and four price corrections. Here’s what’s happening in each category, from lowest prices to highest:

New Listings

54 Park Avenue #17: 1 bed, 1 bath condo. Hardwood floors, near transportation. $153,900.

9 Howard Street: 3 beds, 1 1/2 baths. Possible master suite on third floor. $480,000.
87 Grove Avenue: Multi-family home with 6 beds, 4 baths total. $675,000.
170 Grove Avenue: Listing has three houses on property. Main house has 5 beds, 2 baths; second house has 4 beds, 2 baths; studio cottage in back. $850,000.
