TREPS2015Over the past six weeks, more than 20 seventh- and eighth-grade students from Our Lady of the Lake School have been participating in the award-winning TREP$ after-school program, where they have learned the basics of entrepreneurship.

This Friday, May 1, they will put all that they have learned to the test as they launch their own businesses for the night in the Our Lady of the Lake School TREP$ Marketplace.

Kids will be drawn to the bracelets, toys, and artwork. Decorative cell phone cases and chargers, and bath salts are just a few of the items that will appeal to adults.

Those coming with an appetite will not be disappointed either – as homemade chocolates, cupcakes and caramel corn are just a few of the products that can be enjoyed on the premises.

All of these items will be available for purchase to all cash-carrying members of the public attending the TREP$ Marketplace at the Our Lady of the Lake auditorium from 3 to 7 p.m. Mayor Bob Manley will be reading a proclamation and cutting the Grand Opening ribbon at 3 p.m.

We invite you to join us and to “Buy From Us Before We Are Famous”!
