To the editor:

The Verona Juniors would like to thank everyone who attended our annual Bunny Brunch on March 21. It was wonderful to see families coming together to eat breakfast and meet the Easter Bunny. The money raised from this event benefits our Adopt-a-Family program, which helps families in need in Verona.

This event would not have been possible without the support of some area businesses, including Bagelwich, Hot Bagels and More, Dunkin’ Donuts of Caldwell, Dunkin’ Donuts of West Orange, David Ellis Catering of Cedar Knolls and Jonathan’s Balloons of Upper Montclair.

A big thank you goes out to Kathy Mortara, Joanne Theobald and the Juniorettes for doing a great job with the kids’ crafts and face painting.

Finally, we would like to thank Superintendent Rui Dionisio, who allowed us to use the high school cafeteria, and to Anthony Carsillo and his custodial staff for all of their help before, during and after the event.

Thanks again to everyone who supported our event.
