Calling all dinosaur lovers: The Verona Public Library is happy to announce that educators from the Morris Museum will bring dinosaur fossils to the library’s semi-annual Family Fun Night on Wednesday, March 25. The children will have a chance to examine fossils and models to learn more about the giants that inhabited the earth millions of years ago. Through observation and comparison, they will learn to identify various characteristics of dinosaurs and how they lived.
This program is best suited for children in kindergarten through third grade. We will be having two presentations during Family Fun Night: 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Only 45 children will be admitted to each presentation, and admittance will be on a first come, first served basis. Dinosaur themed crafts will take place during the evening in the children’s room, and the library will extend their normal business hours until 8:30 pm.
This FREE event for families is proudly brought to you by the Friends of the Verona Public Library.
Each academic year, the Verona School District identifies two “family nights.” On Family Night, no homework is given and sports and club activities are not held to encourage family bonding time.
Family Fun Night at the Library is free and registration is not required. For questions, feel free to email [email protected].
