On Wednesday, February 25, the Cedar Grove Historical Society will host a presentation on Verona’s signature company, Annin Flag.
Come and find out how flags came to be, and what they initially symbolized. You’ll also learn about the history of the American flag and its evolution. Annin and Company was started in 1847, and contributed much to the history of the flag in America. Just as Annin contributed to the history of the Flag, so did American History contribute to the history of Annin! Follow this company’s story from its inception, to the company as it still operates today. Presented by Joe Vallone, former Plant Manager for Annin Flag’s Verona location, and 35-year veteran of the company.
The presentation takes place at the Cedar Grove Public Library at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome!
