MyVeronaNJ-Kal-ParekhKal Parekh, who grew up in Verona, has a role in an off-Broadway production of “Macbeth” later this month.

The production is call “Macbeth: Tim Burton Meets Shakespeare”, and it stages the Shakespearean tragedy in an asylum. It runs from January 22 to February 1 at the Alchemical Theatre Laboratory, which is located at 104 W. 14th Street in Manhattan.

As we noted in our 2011 story, Parekh was an arts student at VHS and got into acting by accident while taking a college class on acting for animators. He played Sanjiv the navigator on ABC’s “Pan Am” and had a role in the FOX drama “The Following”.

Tickets for “Macbeth” are available online here.
