The Children’s Institute, a Verona-based school for children and young adults with autism and related disabilities, has a film school too, and the TCI Film School is hosting a film festival called ReelAbilities on Thursday, November 20.
ReelAbilities is the largest festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. TCI’s program for the evening includes the feature film A Whole Lott More, as well as short films Gone and A Life with Aspergers. The evening will conclude with guest speakers Vincent Lissandrello, a TCI Film School student and Tim Butler, the founder and president of Greenvision.
The film festival will be held at the Eisenhower Conference Center in Livingston. For more information, contact David Di Ianni, TCI Film School Productions, [email protected] or 973-509-3050 x441.
