Choices? Did you say there haven’t been enough choices in Verona real estate listings? That shouldn’t be a problem this weekend.
There are 10 new listings, ranging from one-bed condos to huge colonials. There are 13 open houses, at prices from $169,000 to $935,000. And there are even seven houses with price adjustments, including one that has dropped its asking price by $74,000.
Most of the street names should be familiar, even to folks who haven’t been in Verona long. But there’s a listing this weekend for 8 Burdett Road that might draw a blank. It’s one of the new streets in the Lennar townhouse development on Durrell Street, and the road is a nod to Merle Burdett, a long-time volunteer for the Verona Fire Department who passed away in 2013. The funny thing is, when you type “Burdett Road” into Google Maps, the first thing that comes up is a listing for the VFD.
