If someone in your house is a fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, you’ll want to know that its author, Jeff Kinney, will be stopping in Montclair for a talk on Friday, November 7.
The chat with the author will be held in the auditorium of the Watchung School at 14 Garden Street from 9 to 10 a.m. (You can go without worrying about missing school because that is the Friday of Teachers’ Convention weekend and Verona schools are closed.)
Watchung Booksellers, which is co-sponsoring the event with the Watchung School PTA, wants you to know that this event is a presentation only. Due to time constraints, Kinney will not be signing or taking pictures. But your $15 ticket does entitle you to one pre-signed copy of Kinney’s newest work, Diary of a Wimpy Kid #9: The Long Haul. Children under 12 may be accompanied by one unticketed adult.
