Forty elementary and middle school students have been getting a very high-level education in softball this week, thanks to the Verona High School softball team. The team puts on a skills clinic every year during spring break as a fundraiser and to help the players who will be the team’s next generation.
The VHS team, which is 4-3 on the season, faces Bloomfield High School this afternoon at 1 p.m. Pulaski Park.
