Ten Verona High School musicians performed last week at the Essex County Honor Band concert. The group included Amanda Morden, Morgan Janes, Austin Williams, Paige Ferrell, Austin Yee, Chris Buneo, Eric Foy, Bianca Quattrocchi and Andrea Mau and Jonathan Pinon, pictured above. The band’s 100 musicians are drawn from 12 Essex County schools.
There’s another VHS music event this Wednesday, April 9. It’s Jazz Night, and Verona Jazz & Beyond will be marking the 50th anniversary of the Beatles with a tribute to John, Paul, George and Ringo. The concert starts at 7:30 in the VHS auditorium.
