The rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar is coming to West Caldwell on Saturday and Sunday, April 5 and 6, and there are several Verona residents in the cast and behind the scenes.

Colin Vega, Eliana Salierno, Paul Salierno, Jim Cuddihy, Maura Cuddihy, Patrick Citrano and Carina Mitchell–students at H.B. Whitehorne and Verona High School–will be performing in the show, which involves 45 members of the youth choirs at First Presbyterian Church at Caldwell. Verona residents Barbara and Noel Piercy are the church’s minister of music and associate director of music, respectively. Other Veronans helping with the show include David Fink (drums) and Pamela Fink (make-up and hair), and Mary Jo Cuddihy (costumes). Former Verona resident Adriana Piercy is the show’s choreographer.

The show times are 4 and 8 p.m. on both days, and will take place at First Presbyterian’s West Caldwell Campus, 31 Fairfield Avenue, West Caldwell.

Tickets are $12 in advance and you can order them online here. Any available seating will be sold at the door for $15.
