MyVeronaNJ-VHS-SnuggieThe Verona Sports Boosters will hold their annual Beefsteak fundraiser on Saturday February 1, at 7:30 p.m. at the Verona Community Center.

The Verona High School Sports Booster Club supports and promotes all VHS girls and boys athletic programs by connecting students, parents, coaches, and the community to enhance school spirit, boost morale, and offer financial support. It also sponsors the Senior Athlete of the Week recognition on MyVeronaNJ.com.

The annual Beefsteak is the VHS Sports Boosters’ biggest fundraiser of the year! The food will be provided by Nightingale’s Caterers, the original creators of “The Beefsteak “concept back in the 1930s. It is a great evening with plenty of food, beer and wine. There is also a tricky tray, music and a silent auction.

Tickets for the evening are $50 per person.

The Boosters encourage all VHS and incoming eighth grade parents, alumni and friends of our programs to join them at the event. All funds raised by the Boosters go directly to our high school athletic programs to purchase needed items such as uniforms and protective/safety equipment for the teams. A large portion also goes towards scholarships to help our young athletes deal with the rising costs of college.

Please see this flyer for additional information, e-mail the Boosters or call Michele Kiernan at 973-857-7525.
