C.H.I.L.D., the non-profit that focuses on learning issues in Verona, has sent out a notice that it needs to postpone the parent workshop on organization skills that it was sponsoring with the Board of Education at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School on October 23. The presenter has a family emergency.
The organization skills workshop was designed to help parents help their child to maintain school materials, keep track of assignments and plan time effectively. 
This was to be a two-part presentation to be done on October 23 with a follow up on January 16, 2014. C.H.I.L.D. is keeping the January 16 date but will reschedule the October 23 date soon.
