The YMCA of Montclair is offering a free one-year membership to seventh graders in its service area, which includes Verona. With the free membership, students can enjoy fitness and sports, socializing with friends, volunteering for the Y and the community, parties, events and activities and more.
If you have a seventh grader for the 2013-2014 school year who would like to take advantage of the free membership, there is a required orientation for students and their parent or guardian on November 1 at 6:30 p.m. This date is for Verona and Cedar Grove students. Montclair students will have their orientation on October 25 at 6:30 p.m. or October 26 at 1:00 p.m. For Bloomfield students, the orientation will be on November 4 at 6:30 p.m.
The orientations will be held at the YMCA of Montclair at 25 Park Street, which is just off Bloomfield Avenue in the center of Montclair.
