Spring Sports: The Verona High School spring sports season kicks off with a bang today, and you’ll have to clone yourself to catch it all because every event starts at 4 p.m. The boys JV baseball team plays Cedar Grove at home, while the varsity baseball squad travels to Lakeland Regional High School. The golf team plays New Providence at the Montclair Golf Club, and the boys lacrosse team team takes on Boonton at Centennial Field. (The JV team takes on Boonton at 5:30 at Centennial.) The spring track squads face Glen Ridge and Montclair Kimberly Academy at the H.B. Whitehorne track, which has been patched for the season. The girls varsity softball team travels to Newark Academy. Tennis has a split day: The boys JV team travels to Roselle Park High School, while the varsity take on Roselle at home. Got it?
