Verona resident Susanna Baker will be one of two artists featured at a gallery show in Montclair that opens March 1. “Visions: Large & Small” will be held at BrassWorks Gallery, 105 Grove Street, Montclair. An opening reception will be held on March 1 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Susanna Baker has created a series of works on paper, resin and oil on wood that are physically small, yet explore relationships in a vast layered space. Her work has been exhibited in many solo and group shows in New York City, New Jersey and San Francisco, including the NAWA Gallery, Prince Street Gallery, Monmouth Museum, the Watchung Arts Center, Gaelen Center for the Arts, and the George Segal Gallery. She uses printmaking, encaustic and oil paint to produce her non-representational work. She has a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design.
“Visions: Large & Small” runs March 1 to May 26. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday or by appointment.
