We’re part of the New Jersey News Commons, a statewide reporting collaborative organized through Montclair State University. The Commons has put together this live news feed, which will be updated as the winter storm that has been dubbed Nemo moves through New Jersey.

If you have storm photos to share, e-mail them to us, text them to 973-632-4015 or put them on social media with the hashtag #njsnow.

The Verona Police are reminding residents and business owners that they have 24 hours to clear their sidewalks and that we cannot shovel, blow, or plow snow into the street: It is illegal in Verona, and potentially dangerous. Also, please remember that if you have a fire hydrant near your house or business, it would help the Verona Fire Department greatly if you would clear it of snow.

UPDATE, Sunday, Feb. 10: According to the National Weather Service, Verona got the most snow of any measured municipality in Essex County.

UPDATE: The Verona Public Library will be closed on Saturday, February 9, because of the snow.
