Anthony Robert Salon Adds Blowout Events

Let’s say you don’t need a full salon treatment, just  little bit of fabulous to look great for a night out. That’s the idea behind a new service at the Anthony Robert Salon: The Blowout Lounge.

For $50, you get a deep-conditioning scalp treatment, a blowout by one of the salon’s junior stylists and something delicious to eat and drink. The salon is also inviting local women’s boutiques and others to its events, so you might come away with new clothing or accessories to go with your new look. Recent vendors have included Wish Boutique from Caldwell and Posh Boutique from Totowa.

“Come and bring one or two of your girlfriends and try something new,” says Anthony Lombardi, the salon’s co-owner and star of Jerseylicious.

The salon is holding the Lounge events on the final Thursday of each month, which means the next one is next Thursday night, August 30. The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m., and you need to make an appointment to attend by calling (973) 857-1922. That’s also the number to call if you’re a boutique looking to partner in the event.
