If you know a senior citizen in Verona who needs to get more fresh vegetables into their diet, you might want to pass this along. The Verona Health Department has food vouchers available that can been redeemed at local farmers markets. The vouchers are available through the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP).

To be eligible, seniors must have an annual income less than $20,147 ($1,679 monthly or $840 twice a month) for a single person and $27,214 annual income ($2,268 monthly or $1,134 twice a month) for married persons. The vouchers are a $20 value per single individual and $40 per married individuals.
