The Verona Waves Swim team will once again be collecting food for area food pantries at all home swim meets this summer.

The team will have collection bins by the pool entrance when the pool opens today. You can donate all kinds of non-perishable boxed and canned foods. If you prefer to make a cash donation instead, there will be a box for that as well.

This season’s home swim meets are Thursday, June 28; Monday, July 2; Monday, July 16; Thursday, July 19; and the divisionals competition on Monday, July 23.

Swim team meets start at 6 p.m. Pool members are invited to stay and cheer the team on.
