With the temperature expected to hit 94 degrees on Wednesday afternoon, Verona has decided to open the pool. According to the Recreation Department, the pool will open at 4 p.m. and remain open until 8 p.m. If you are not a member, you will need to be the guest of a registered member.
No word yet on tomorrow. Staffing is tricky with so many Verona High School students among the pool employees.
UPDATE: Alas, the pool will be closed on Thursday. Friday starts the summer season in earnest.
