We’ve gotten word that Diane Tenuto Stevens passed away last Thursday. She was 62 and living in Barnegat Light at the time of her death.
The wake will be Wednesday, June 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive in Manahawkin. A memorial service will be held in the Barnegat Light Gazebo on the bay at the end of 8th Street on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Diane was my best friend and a wonderful mother to our sons. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Rick, Diane was my 6th grade teacher in OLL, quite a few years ago. We were so happy to have the pretty, young new teacher. She was so kind and energetic, a great teacher. I am so sorry for your loss.
She too was my teacher (social studies) at OLL. She was always kind warm fun and really nice to me and encouraged me to work to my potential.
