Scott Chesney, a graduate of Verona High School and a 1992 graduate of Seton Hall University, gave the commencement address at Seton Hall on Monday, May 21. For those of you who don’t know him, Chesney was a promising VHS athlete until he was paralyzed by a spinal stroke at age 15. He is now a nationally and internationally recognized motivational speaker and a member of the university’s Leadership Advisory Council.
