Minette McKenna Foundation Wine Tasting

The Minette Grosso McKenna Angel Foundation, also known as Minette’s Angels, will be holding a wine  and  beer Tasting on Thursday, May 24, from 7  to 10 p.m. in the auditorium of Our Lady of the Lake.

In addition to the drinks and food, there will be a silent auction, raffle prizes, and live music. Sponsors include Gary’s Wine, Eight Hills Caterers, Frungillo Caterers and Ted Whitmore.

Minette’s Angels was founded in 2004, a year after Minette Grosso McKenna passed away from breast cancer, to carry on her legacy. It supports patients and survivors, and those who are at risk of breast cancer. It offers scholarships for Verona residents entering into a medical field and assistance to those in and out of treatment, and promotes awareness about breast cancer. The foundation has 501(c)(3) non-profit status and is registered with the state of New Jersey.
