The First Presbyterian Church of Verona, located at 10 Fairview Avenue, is hosting its annual Fish and Chips dinner on Friday, April 13. The cost of this popular event is $15. for a full portion or $10 for a half portion dinner with a choice entrée of fish or chicken.
The food is once again being prepared by the famous Argyle Restaurant of Kearny. Sit-down dinners will be served between 6 and 7:30 p.m. There is also a take-out window which opens at 5:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds of this event will go towards much needed repairs of the church steeple.
