October 2 Open Houses, Price Changes

Weather delays and holidays stalled the Verona real estate market in September, but things seem back on track for October. Here are the open houses for this afternoon, from lowest to highest priced:

365 Bloomfield Avenue #9B: 1 bed, 1 bath condo. Price cut again by $9,000 to $160,000. Open Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.
18 Wedgewood Drive #27: 1 bed, 1 bath condo, $169,000. Open Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
26 Hillside Avenue: 3 bed, 1 bath, open kitchen. $305,000 after $34,000 cut on September 30. Open Sunday 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
22 Martin Road: 3 bed, 2 bath, split-level with finished basement. $319,000 after $10,900 price cut in late September. Open Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
47 Montrose Avenue: 3 bed, 1 1/2 bath. Woodwork and walk-up attic. $329,000. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.
82 Franklin Street: 3 bed, 2 bath Cape on a dead-end street. $359,500. Open Sunday 1 to 5 p.m.
5 Louisburg Square: 2 bed, 2 1/2 bath attached townhouse with finished basement. $364,900. Open Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
19 Lynwood Road 3 bed, 2 bath, with two-care garage and Florida room. $424,900 after a $20,100 price cut in late September. Open Sunday 1 to 4 p.m.
97 Hillside Avenue: 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath. All baths upgraded, central air. $539,000. Open Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.
83 Morningside Road: 3 bed, 2 bath, great rom with cathedral ceiling. $550,000. Open Sunday 1 to 3 p.m.

In addition to the price cuts on some of the houses that will be shown this weekend, several other houses have seen their prices lowered in the last two weeks, including one by more than several houses on the market:

1 Claridge Drive #1010: 1 bed, 1 bath, $139,900 after a $10,000 cut.
276 Linden Avenue: 3 bed, 1 full, 2 half baths. $275,000 after a $24,000 cut.
9 Floyd Terrace: 4 bed, 2 bath, $325,000 after a $9,900 cut.
53 Gould Street: 2 bed, 1 bath. $329,000 after a $10,900 cut.
42 Oakridge Road: 3 bed, 1 bath. Down $21,000 to $339,000.
49 Hamilton Road:3 bed, 2 bath for $399,000 after a $20,000 cut.
82 Personette Avenue: 6 beds, 2 baths, $405,000 after a $30,000 cut.
23 Birdseye Glen: 3 bed, 1 1/2 bath, $449,000 after a $40,000 cut.
63 Morningside Road: 3 bed, 1 1/2 bath. $455,000 after a $9,900 cut.
36 Afterglow Way: 7 bed, 4 1/2 bath, $1,999,000 after a $500,000 cut.
