The Verona High School Class of 1981’s 30th reunion weekend is coming up. The festivities kick off on Friday, October 7 with cocktails and appetizers at the Commonwealth Club, 26 Northview Avenue in Upper Montclair, starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $50 per person; soda, beer and wine included. You are welcome to BYOB your favorite alcoholic beverage (basic mixers will be available). On Saturday, October 8, the party moves to the Oktoberfest at Our Lady of the Lake. And on Sunday, the weekend will wrap with a “Hillbilly Brunch” at Lombardi’s in Fairfield, which is owned by classmate Al Lombardi.
