Freewalkers, a group that runs walks all over–and sometimes across–New Jersey, has got one coming up that they call the “Endless Summer Walk”. It’s a 30-miles stroll along the Jersey shore from Matawan to Asbury Park. You’ll be walking the Henry Hudson Trail along the Raritan Bayshore area and then proceed along the oceanfront from Sea Bright to Asbury Park. The walk, which is free, is Sunday, October 1, and you can find out more about it here.

On October 10, which is Columbus Day, Freewalkers will be holdig a repeat of its LENAPE34 walk. This one takes you from Millburn to Newark, through several Essex County parks. This is the Web site to sign up for that walk.
