OK, maybe this week’s contest wasn’t entirely fair. Rocktec Music only recently moved from its first Verona home by the Peckman River, which would have been instantly recognizable to those of you with budding guitarists and drummers in the house. It’s a move so new that Rocktec owner Rich Ciricillo hasn’t even had time to change the address on his Web site from 522 Bloomfield Avenue to 776 Bloomfield Avenue, which is past Denim & Daisies on the hill heading up to the Verona Community Center.
But we thought, after the stellar job that Ciricillo did sponsoring Verona’s new teen band competition, Cops & Rockers, that the kids might have pleaded with you to take them to Rocktec so that they could gear up for next year’s competition. The winning band from that evening, Fusion, has already been there and, in the Rocktec video below, you can see snippets of Andrew Capuano, Ryan Yeates, Nick Celfo, Steve Wynen and Austin Williams recording a CD in Cat eyeZ Studios adjacent to Rocktec.
You can see Fred Goode’s full slideshow here to see what you missed in the clues.
