Forest Avenue School recently held its annual art show. The theme was “Under the Sea” and featured children costumed as sea creatures, a three-dimensional mural, fabulous floating jelly fish and a ocean full of creative and exciting artwork by the students of Forest. The evening was the hard work and brainchild of Lisa Varuolo, who teaches art at both Forest and Laning, which will have its presentations of sea creations on May 24. Both evenings are funded by a grant from Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence (VFEE).
