If you could add one new service to Verona’s budget, what would it be?
I wouldn’t add any new services when residents are struggling in this economy to pay increasing taxes with stagnant or in some cases decreasing wages. If through some miracle, extra money was found, it should be used to pay down previous debt or be returned to the residents as tax relief. Purchasing revenue producing items should also be considered if the
cost/benefit is worth the investment.
