Share post:

Spring has finally sprung in Verona, New Jersey. The lawns finally need cutting and there are finally blooms to photograph. Which is what it looks as if Fred Goode has been doing.

If you know where in Verona these lovely blooms are, put your real name and real e-mail address in the Comments field together with your guess and maybe you’ll win a real MyVeronaNJ.com baseball cap.

UPDATE: Len Waterman is the winner again this week with a guess of Forest Avenue School. The full slideshow is below. We’ve added a second third photo.

  1. Trees, my, dear, trees. I have two apples, two cherries, two peach and a forlorn fig tree. But this photo is not of any of them. Nor is it Verona Park, though I would like to take a moment to recognize our new guesser, Laura.

  2. No, but I will take this opportunity to repeat a suggestion I made to the Essex County Park’s commissioner, who has dominion over Kip’s: We should turn it into a high-end B&B.
