The thaw has made it a little bit easier to get around Verona to check out real estate, and there are six homes with open houses today. Here’s what’s listed, from lowest-priced to highest.

In the Forest Avenue district, 11 Morningside Road has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an easy walk to Verona Park. It will be open from 2 to 4 p.m. The asking price is now $394,900.

You don’t need to move your car to see the next house. Just cross the street to 6 Morningside Road. The house has 1,800 square feet of living space, including five bedrooms and two and a half baths. It sits on a corner lot that is 105 by 135 feet, and the asking price is $399,000. It will be open from noon to 4 p.m.

15 Franklin Street got a thorough facelift in 2007. For $418,000 you get three bedrooms, two bathrooms, central air inside and a paver patio outside. It is open from 2 to 4 p.m.

Another house with a “15” in its street address: 15 Otsego Road. A recent renovation gave this house three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a very large family room and a stylish open kitchen. It is on the market for $444,000 and it is open from 1 to 4 p.m.

We recently toured 53 Linden Avenue for our House Snooping column. It also has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, but it sits on a gigantic lot that backs on one of the last woodlands in Verona. The asking price is $448,000 and it is open Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

For $629,000, you can buy 111 Park Avenue, a three bedroom, two bath house near Verona Park in the Brookdale Avenue elementary school neighborhood. The kitchen opens to the family room, and there’s a nice flat yard. It is open from 2 to 4 p.m.

And finally, it’s back to the Forest Avenue side of town to 33 Oakridge Road. For $799,000 you get four bedrooms, two full baths and two half baths and a well-appointed kitchen, all on a landscaped corner lot. The price was cut by $41,000 at the end of January.
