Obituaries: Frank Del Guercio

Mr. Frank J. Del Guercio, Jr., 57, died on Saturday, November 6, in Glen Ridge. Graveside services will be held in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Grove Avenue at Mt. Hebron Road, Upper Montclair on Thursday November 11 at 11 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, November 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Born in Newark, Frank was a lifelong resident of Verona and graduated from Verona High School in 1972.

Frank, an avid Yankee fan, worked at Montclair State University for 30 years and retired in 2009 as the head printer. He was a member of the Communications Workers of America.

Frank is the son of Mildred (nee Pinto) Del Guercio and the late Frank Del Guercio, Sr., the brother of Anthony Del Guercio and his wife Sarah. He is also Uncle Frank to Alyssa, Laura, Heather and Hunter.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
