The Verona Recreation Department and the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee are sponsoring a series of free health seminars for senior citizens, under the auspices of the Wellness Initiative for Senior Education.
There’s a different topic covered every month. On October 20, from 3 to 4 p.m., the topic is medication and the older adult. On November 16, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., the talk will be about addiction, alcohol and tobacco and the older adult. On December 14, the topic is “An Enhanced Quality of Life”, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. All talks will be held in the Fireman’s Room at the Verona Community Center.
