The Verona Health Department, in cooperation with Mountainside Hospital, is sponsoring a cholesterol screening on Monday, October 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. The test, which costs $12 or $8 for seniors, includes an LDL, HDL and total cholesterol/HDl ratio. Educational materials and individual counseling will also be provided. The screening will be at the Verona Health Department, which is in the Community Center.
